We all chipped into the workshop this morning and started drilling holes in the wing skeleton in order to get it ready for skinning.
The first year student group are designated 'sparrows' and the third year students 'seagulls'...
The day started with the Seagulls teaching the sparrows the names of all the tools in the workshop and after about an hour, the sparrows were able to identify the different tools comfortably.
As the day progressed, there was a lot of drilling, cleco work, de-burring, de-greasing and cortecking parts for mating and riveting.
